“A Fatal Grace” by Louise Penny

I enjoyed this, my second Louise Penny book, more than I expected. The characters at Three Pines have developed into real people, and I liked the instances of God apparently talking to Gamache and to Clara through ordinary people. The plot was sufficiently complex. A horrible woman, CC, murdered a bag lady when she discovered it was her mother. And CC’s overweight, very abused and emotionally troubled daughter murdered her during a winter curling game. Three elderly women, who had grown up with the bag lady, tried to take the blame to protect the daughter.
